I am so glad I was able to find Dr. Tim after my previous ocularist Dr. Gorrin's office closed. I was not sure at first how to go about finding a new ocularist, but I went online to search and found Dr. Tim. When I finally got to see him he and his office staff were very friendly and Dr. Tim polished my prosthesis and was very through with me and explained everything to where I could understand it. He gave me a plan of 6 months to come back and get another polishing done. I am extremely happy.

I am very happy with the service that Mr. Brakefield provides. I appreciate him scheduling appointments in Wilmington. There are no ocularists in the Southport/Wilmington so when my ocularist retired I did not know what I would do to have my prosthesis cleaned and polished. I went on line and found Mr Brakfield. How lucky for me and others in the area.

I was very pleased initially with the prosthetic eye that Tim designed for me, and when I mentioned a minor tweak I would have liked when I first had it done. he aksed if I had a little bit of time in town for him to make the adjustment (I drive about an hour and 20 mins to see Mr. Brakefield), he took my prosthetic back to his work area and told me to come back in a couple hours. Now, the eye looks perfect to me and few would ever guess it isn't the natural eye. Thanks Tim!

I had a great experience with Tim. He spent over an hour with me, answered all my questions, and even adjusted my current prosthesis (which he didn't make) so it fits much better. He was honest and didn't try to upsell me, even though he easily could have. I also reviewed his work and the eyes he creates are incredibly realistic—I genuinely couldn't tell which were prosthetic. He also does custom fun designs too. I felt comfortable, heard, and taken care of. Highly recommend.
